This is nonsense. Bush's policies have split the country more deeply than I have can ever recall.


I agree the country is split, but totally disagree about why. It seems clear to me that Gore's attempted theft of the election has a lot to do with it. But there is an overall attempt on the part of Democrats to divide the electorate, and it is working (after all, to be successful, you just have to get the Democrats to support your position).

I for one grieve for America and struggle containing my anger.

I feel the same way. I'm angry that liberals will seek shelter behind fundamental American precepts while condemning America in the next breath. It is sickening. It is as though you people think you should be entitled to have it both ways. In my mind, you're American or you're against America. You can't both be against America and be a patriot.

I under stand your anger, because I have my own.
