S Korea Kepco To Buy Back 10 Million Ordinary Shares By March 29

SEOUL - Korea Electric Power Corp. , South Korea's dominant power supplier, said Thursday it has decided to buy back 10 million of its ordinary shares from the market in an effort to bolster its share price.
The buyback will take place between Dec. 30 and March 29, and the market value of the shares is 184.5 billion won ($1=KRW1,199.8), Kepco said in a disclosure to the Korea Stock Exchange.

The company will purchase the shares at a price that is between the previous session's close and 5% above that close.

It currently holds 913,375 treasury stocks, equivalent to 0.14% of its total outstanding shares
