I have volunteered for Kerry, yeah. johnkerry.com if you want to join me. I had dinner with the campaign manager and he told me the Heinz money would not be used unless or until the wide-spread Rush Limbaugh style character assasination attempts begin. They're already starting. Non-stop silly dishonest insults like kerry's haircuts, criticizing his looks, sleeping with wife for money, traitor after Vietnam for opposing war, even acccusing him of drinking (which I know he doesn't) and that is is a far-left liberal (actually a moderate-progressive-liberal with military expertise). But Kerry is going to transcend the moderate-liberal tag. He's going to be introducing bills and ideas which transcend party lines and are just clearly common sense for our country long-term, like getting off Arab oil once and for all, becoming fiscally responsible again, and realizing that you can't have your cake and eat it too, as Bush has been promising people. He's basically going to tell it like it is, the honest truth, and hopefully people will respond. Bush has never explained to us how the hell he's going to pay for his military build-up and tax cuts for the rich. And he wont admit he's trying to bleed Social Security and Medicare dry. getting the economy going again plus peace on earth is a huge task now, but Bush seems AWOL on both counts. All he can do is rattle the sabers and give sweetheart deals to his contributors like big oil, pollutors, HMO's, asbestos companies and tobacco. And why oh why has Bush not tried to do something for our technology business. Potentially our greatest export to the world.
