IP addresses instead of 10 digit phone numbers, plus a 1, would be better. Easier to remember JBiddle@Phoneme.com instead of 1 212 314 159 27 or to tell somebody your phone number.

There's a business for somebody - link email addresses and phone numbers.

Enter email address into pdQ when you get the email address

Then, next day you want to phone JBiddle@Phoneme.com

Click "phone" JBiddle@anywhere.com in your email listings
The pdQ sees "phone" as "ping JBiddle@Phoneme.com"
Mqurice checks phoneme.com to see if anyone has the domain name.
Yes, they have and they are already doing a similar business.
They offer "click on this web page and make a free phone call to them".
Anyway, try Pingme.com ... oh, pingme.com is taken too. They make sure your web site is running 7.24.

... I give up.
Anyway, the pdQ pings said website, which acknowledges said ping with the phone number of JBiddle, which the phone downloads, stores with JBiddle's email address, then dials the number.
Hey Presto! No more messing around with phone numbers.

Next time you want to call, just click 'phone now' on JBiddle's name and you'll be there.

Maybe there's an easier way to do it, but I'm sick of phone numbers and just want to use somebody's name to phone them. It's time the phone companies got rid of numbers and started using names.
