Best wishes Ashley for 2003 and may the world again be a better place than it was at the beginning of the year [in a utilitarian sense of better for the median human, however that could possibly be measured - there's some quantification and statistical crunching to keep mathematicians busy forever].

Subjectively, and without a Gleason score and not even a standard deviancy or linear regression analysis, I'd say overall the world's on a winner. The human world anyway. I suppose mosquitoes are not celebrating the new year and it looks much the same as a million years ago to them - except there are a LOT more big, juicy, thin-skinned primates, with almost no fur to protect them.

We can now download the latest news on lymphoma treatments via our pdQ Mark III, the Kyocera 7135 Message 18387495

While I'm moaning about how the world works Message 18387474 I wish internet time would be adopted universally. It's time to do away with time zones and daylight saving. It should be metricated while we are at it. swatch.com
