"Medi-Hut Says FBI Returned All Computers Taken in November Raid

Wall Township, New Jersey, Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Medi-Hut
Co., a medical-supplies company whose headquarters were raided by
U.S. agents in November, said the FBI returned all of its
computers.
The computers were returned on Dec. 26, Medi-Hut said in a
statement distributed by Business Wire. A call to company
spokeswoman Adele Ehlin for additional information wasn't
immediately returned.
In November, more than half a dozen agents from the Federal
Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service
raided Medi-Hut's offices bearing a criminal search warrant. In a
regulatory filing, Medi-Hut said it didn't know why it had been
raided.
Earlier this month, the Wall Township, New Jersey-based
company said it may delay reporting earnings for the fiscal year
that ended Oct. 31 because its computers were gone. The company
faces a Jan. 29 deadline to file the annual report with the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission.
In September, the company restated results for fiscal 2001
and for the first and second quarters of the next fiscal year.
Medi-Hut shares rose 7 cents, or 5.7 percent, to $1.30 as of
10:26 a.m. in New York Stock Exchange Composite trading. The
shares have fallen 90 percent this year.
