Nothing Fundamentally Wrong with WCDMA

You might want to check my notes on Tony Thornley's presentation at a SSB conference in September. Message 17964458

He said "There's nothing fundamentally wrong with WCDMA but just simply that it does take a given amount of time to stabilize any kind of technology."

I remember being a bit surprised by this statement since I had never heard Dr. J be so upbeat about WCDMA. One has to wonder about the statement in light of all the endless delays due to problems that Dr. J, Ben Garrett and others have cited. Endless delays would seem to be fundamental problems if you are in business to make money and have $120 billion invested in spectrum that is not being used!
