Some would say that Sapp was celebrating the hit... certainly not celebrating the injury. The local press here in Tampa pointed out some very dangerous (and illegal) crack back blocks by the Packers, before the infamous hit. Sapp's hit was certainly legal.

I'm not saying that Sapp is a sweetheart, in fact he is far away from one of the most popular players here in Tampa. But he is known throughout the NFL as a clean player. Not a guy who would ever try to intentionally injure a another player.
