What I find amazing is that there hasn't been one mention of Anthony@Pacific through post #113. This thread seems to be some feral zombie outpost, perhaps the Twilight Zone Cyber-Saloon, where reality doesn't really impinge on the erratic synaptic scintillations of the demented denizens. Lurking here is rather like being a Homeland Security(TM) Listening Device (U.S. Pat. Pending) appended to the olive in the martini glass, inundated with idlest of emanations of the chattering class and realizing that the Kool-Aid is really really working. The "mindlessness" psychotropic agent that we've striven so hard to create since the days of our early LSD and sodium phenobarbitol experiments is approaching perfection. I'm only conjecturing, but the percentage of "contributors" here who are dosed with citalopram, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, fluoxetine or one of those delicious tricyclics must be very high. (Sorry for the pun, kiddies.)
For the record, Anthony Elgindy deserves, IMVHO, a place of highest honor and respect in the pantheon of SI's Incurably Infamous.
