"Saddam will cripple out economy" statement. Explanations? I would say karl Rove has realized people aren't buying the "blame Clinton or Bin Lauden for the economy" line anymore as time goes by so they need someone else to blame it on. Anyone but themselves. The Bushies realize the economy will be tanking all the way into 2004 and none of their policies will fix it. Meanwhile their defense, oil and pollution cronies get rich on sweetheart deals. Probably avoid taxes too. Bush has proposed an 11 billion tax relief package for the oil industry as part of his corrupt backward energy package. basically makes the tax-payers pay for all the plundering of the wildlife refuges and public lands. I say THIS WILL NOT STAND but they're in power. So all we can do is apply pressure then sweep them out in 2004.
