You know modern technology makes these goods last longer. Take cars, computers, household appliances like washing machine, fridge. In house construction, screws instead of nails and special kind of board, roofs that last 30-40 years. In computers with P4 and memory upto 1GB, it can easily last 5-10 years for average users, this is 50 times powerful than what we paid fortune to buy only 5 years ago. What I am saying is that the replacement cycle is taking longer to place which is deflationary.

State should fire 10% of employees through attrition, reduce wages by 10% and freeze it till the State's are healthy. There is a limit to suck blood from turnip aka MiddleClass.
