Alex you missed my point, I wasn't comparing MS to Corel.
The point I was making is that MS is following and not leading in the computer industry right now. Which if you have been following my posts on the NC's you can see how MS reacts to everything Sun does related to the Java language and the NC.

My post to you indicated MS is going after other areas since it knows it's about to loose the monopoly on the OS it has now. And all the MS cult followers don't buy this but time will tell. Times are a changing.

Now with a open OS we shall see who is the better software developer.
IMHO the only way Corel will break MS lock on the Office applications is with Java and the NC. For office applications NC's fit the bill, but there isn't any out as of yet. The street says were's the product (beef) is the reason Corel's share price is depressed. Don't forget Corel still has other products that making money for them. So I guess they are also waiting for the quarter report for EPS.
