That depends on what is the price tag from the US seller. Take drugs for example, China buys a lot of drugs from the international market, but most of them are not bought from the US, but from the Europe, even if some of the drugs may developed by the US first. the reason? Price is much cheaper from the Europe. The US drug makers simply price themselves out of the market.
