Saddam is not going to attack us himself or with others. He'd be crazy to try. He's boxed in and in big trouble. They're watching everything he does. For Bush to bring up this boogey man fear without any evidence it's happening is highly reckless and cynical. Of course it's to try and blame Saddam for his own failures, especially on the economy. Saddam though is become overly used as a scapegoat. In fact Saddam as vile as he is, has been in a box for 10 years. And he's not coming out. If he tries, he's a dead man. So Bush is making the spectulative leap that Saddam is suicidal rather than the dug-in control-freak survivor which evidence shows he is.
