Your right it is ridiculous. She is free to say what she wants. She is not being censored if a school or a school district doesn't want her to speak at a state function.

Anyone's comments are controversial only if someone interprets them that way. Controversial merely means that they caused a controversy. If a lot of people object there is a controversy so they are controversial.


However, there were not a lot of people objecting....only those who appeared to do so for political reasons.

Again, Sen. Murray's comments reflect the view of many Americans and her intent was to point out a way to make our position more positive in the world. Some of us want to learn and improve even if it means learning from our enemies. Sorry if that offends you.
