<It feels to me that the net result is a deeper gap between the rich and the poor; those who kept their jobs and those who didn't.> This is a great time for people with a job and cash in the bank -- and a bad time for people with debt, no job and a pile of Internet stock certificates. A couple of years ago people laughed at the idea that buying an Internet stock was not the same thing as having "savings". I don't hear anybody laughing now.
