I doubt that. Where are you going to invest? In EU, with the German troubles and the ECB moving at snail pace? Or in Japan, with the 31st stimulus plan failing and making way for the 32nd? China - nor India - cannot absorb the global flow of capital - these markets will flare out in Russian style if there is a run from the US and into them. What does that leave us with: South America? I don't expect anything from the stock market. But I hope that the economy stabilizes and I keep my job, and my wife hers. These are greater concerns now for my family - and I believe for most families across the USA - than early retirement and buying islands.
