No one can deny that the Clinton years were the best economy we've seen in our lifetimes, or will ever see probably. True it went too far in the markets but Clinton despite his sexual vices deserves a ton of credit. You cant give credit to the GOP congress. They opposed Clinton's economic policies all the way. I remember Dick Armey speaking out on the floor saying "I take no responsibility when these policies destroy the American economy", paraphrased. He got egg all over his face the many years thereafter. By the way, Carlyle Group, Jim Baker and daddy Bush's private company just invested 300 mill in CSX the same week they named its CEO the Sec Of Treasury. Insider deals a-coming. Enron lives.
