Bashing should be done selectively. It is called plonking by Steven Potter. Every once in a while one replies to the Desert Dirt Glee Club, and says, "yes, yes, shame we don't have them up here in Canada, then we all would be millionaires. We never have trouble getting gold out of anything." -- Or -- "wasn't the geologist failed on one of his matriculations in high school due to cheating? I thought I read something on that.." -or- "yes, we see all kinds of ephemeral gold in deserts. Of course the whole Nevada trend is in a desert, but never in volcanics naturally, and strangely, never near cities with x's in their name! I wonder why that is?"

When reporting gold assays of enthusiastic reporters, always make sure that a lab where the owners have never been convicted of running biased card games in back-alleys of LA and has made a determination by methods developed by someone not referred to as "Lefty" or "Sneaky Pete".
