Paula, You are certainly free to express your views , as is anyone who comes to the thread. This is an open forum for all to contribute . We don't censor anybody . You have just as much right to criticize the content as someone else does to post it. Take us back to a subject you'd like to address if we aren't going in a direction you want to go. We've covered all the known fundamental data we can find . The charts don't look especially good . There's a pall over the sector . All we can do in my estimation is have fun until something emerges to discuss. But please , if there's something you'd like to throw out to the group , and we have a very astute bunch here, do it . I called the company on Friday and had a short discussion with Julius Blank , who is in charge of investor relations . I came away from the dicussion with the strong impression that Xicor is doing what Xicor does, and the market is doing what it does. The two are not related . Xicor is moving ahead as they indicated they would. I would just add ; 50% of a stocks movement in price will come from overall market movement. 30% will come from the sector the stock is in . Only 20% of a stocks movement can generally be attributed to that individual equity . That's probably why we are sitting at $8+ / share currently. A market trades on sentiment , emotion, fear ,greed ,expectations for the future. Right now there is a sale in progress in technology .If you have any $$ to spare , back the truck up to some of these cos. and load up !!Sentiment will eventually change .
Take care, John |
