Maybe, you could share your reason for optimism. I know bpi works in the test tube, but thus far evidence of in-vivo efficacy is ambiguous at best. If the effect of bpi on bacteria was zowie, we'd have seen it by now. Personally, I think it's reasonable to surmise that the body mechanisms that govern the production and antibacterial effect of bpi are far more complex than merely injecting the glop into one's veins.

As for the theoretical potential of bpi, I've never doubted it. Certainly, there will always be a ready market for any medication that can tackle the problems of bacterial meningitis and sepsis which bpi has failed to do.
