An ambulance chaser is going to run for President on the Democratic side. In my view, legal costs are one of the biggest drags on the U.S.A.'s world wide economic competitiveness. I know of no other country where business suffers legal costs to the same extent as business does in the U.S.A. What is worse, the powerful lobbies for the trial lawyer associations have a death grip on the Democratic party and all attempts at reigning in legal costs are DOA at the Washington level.
