dvdw, I received a favorable decision on a contested case this morning. My client's employer opposed paying for a low back fusion caused by an on the job injury. After $4,100 of costs advanced and about 100 hours of my time, we were successful. Without the contingent fee system, my client would not have been able to pursue her meritorious claim. I represent the little people who would otherwise have no voice. Other trial lawyers do the same.
