Saddam we are talking about. Bush attempting to blame the crippled economy on Saddam yesterday. Terrorism is a HUGE threat. That's a different subject. Saddam is a lot of things but not a terrorist. He does send checks to Palestinian bombers but so do our "friends" the Saudis. And the real source of terrorism now may be Saudi Arabia. While our 200,000 soldiers are in Iraq fighting for oil, our borders are left largwely unprotected, as well as shipping ports, etc. Congress appropriated 7 billion to stop this gap but Bush hasn't done anything with it. What's it been six months and no action?
