eBay and fundraising remember their post 9/11 campaign for $100 million in auctions? eBay got free publicity notice for all that hype, and attracted maybe $10 million in actual 9/11 benefit auctions. It was such an embarrassing flop that nobody talks about it now. I'm surprised that Bill O'Reilly didn't pick up on this back when he was blasting all the charities. eBay only cares about making money for eBay. Disclosure; I'm still in cash, but looking to go short in 2 weeks when eBay reports and options expire.
