"use of force or threats to demoralize, intimidate, and subjugate" Were that "defend against imminent attack or clear and present danger to America" it would be warfare as we Americans have known it. Instead as we've seen that definition fits the warnings and actions of the Bush administration pretty well. One minor example -- On the date of June 10th before the scheduled 2pm event by the families of the victims of 9/11 demanding an investigation: unansweredquestions.org ... the following threat occured, which was empty, but highly effective politically in slowing the 9/11 investigation momentum down, occuring two hours before the 9/11 families were to talk to the nation: cnn.com smh.com.au ... and Ashcroft went to extreme lengths to make the bogus announcement, late at night from Moscow, 9 timezones away, just to be sure to hit the noon deadline and distract the media. By the definition above, psy-ops is terrorism when used to threaten and coerce a population
