-European econo will fall into despair and the euro transition will cause EA countries to begin finger pointing. This will trigger a very long and heated debate as some countries will petition to go back to their original currencies. not yet
-If I'm right about europe, it will spill over into the USA putting us into the worse economic conditions we have seen in since '29. not yet
-Fed funds will drop to .125% missed by 100bps
-cunsumer debt will increase as many will not be able to make their minimum monthly payments. yep
-mortgage default will be the second worst this country has ever seen not yet, maybe in 03 or 04
-housing prices will fall by more than 20% not yet
-"Women Investment Clubs" will not be heard from for another decade nope, they're still around
-The Last mile will lose another two miles yep
-Unemployment will rise to 9% about 6%
-Big three auto makers will need gov. assistance as consumers default on 0% financing loans and further sales diminish. nope, and still offering 0% financing
-Rolling black outs will become common place as the hottest summer on record in the US puts a strangle hold on things. it was hot and there still is a drought in the midwest But no black outs
-Drought will cause the price of livestock to increase must not have been since it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the news
-Wheat, soy and other grains will slowly begin to replace grazing land Maybe by the end of this decade
-firearms sales will rise substantially in the US nope, I read somewhere fire arms sales were actually down in '02
-record numbers of hunting licenses will be issued. no evidence or facts on this
-This will not be my stupidest post of 2002<GGG> TRUE
