Hey Jay... Possibly.. but I'm still not convinced...

There is nothing occurring in competing major economies that suggest to me that they are better equipped to achieve economic growth than the US.

If anything, the smaller economies may prosper more since the US seems bent upon restoring some semblance of order..

But I don't see a stronger Euro helping Europe out of it's economic malaise, nor will it assist Asia.. Both regions are heavily dependent upon US markets for maintaining economic growth, IMO.

The dollars been beaten up pretty bad, but it's severely oversold, as are most US markets. But it appears we're headed for a nice rally into February... And I think we're going to have a bloodless victory in Iraq as pressure mounts amongst Arab states for Hussein to step down and seek exile. The odds are that his own army is not willing to have all of their "toys" broken defending his regime.

But it's nice to see someone is digging up my old posts and holding my feet to the fire... :0)
