I am just a small business but I have run into this for years. I have the Oral rule: I don't write checks to do business. I am not in this for my health and exchanging dollars is nonsense. I would rather lay everyone off and go fishing if I can't make a profit. And I mean that with each individual deal as they all stand or die of their own merit. I wish more would adopt this philosophy.
