Certain facts in the mideast. Comments welcome. 1. Jews have a love for their homeland much the same way italians and irish have for theirs. 2. Americans have an affinitiy for Israel as a struggling democracy in a sea of hatred. 3. The Christian right has a love of israel as a nation fulfilling biblical prophecy. 4. Americans and Israelis are anti-terror 5. Americans view Israeli presence in West Bank as an occupation. 6. Americans want a better future for the Palestinians and the US has been a fair broker until Arafat turned down Clinton Barak peace initiatives. Now the occupation, though unfortunate, is deemed as necessary by a state being attacked by terrorists.
