Considering the gov't panic in keeping all these things secret, I'm suspicious of much of the claims that don't correspond to common sense -- the visual on the Pentagon looks like a nice, round hole, without detritus associated with other airliner crashes.

One claim is the plane vaporized, the other claim is that it was a missile. Various forms of evidence would clear this up, tapes from radar, tower and various NORAD systems, etc. But the gov't is insistent on keeping all these things secret.

An unfortunate result of gov't secrecy is the inevitable suspicion that any differences between what we are officially told and what we see are due to malfeasance, not "bumbling" or "mistakes". It may be the only position the administration can take, but that may be even more unfortunate.
