If we could count on not having a weak liberal president elected at some future date, I would be totally supportive of a policy of containment for Iraq.

I hate to point out the obvious to you...we are were we are because a prior non liberal president who had a huge army in the Iraqi desert, the support of the entire world and the Iraqi army on the run decided to turn back . He must have also believed that Saddam could be contained. It's a good thing you have time to think before you write...a spontaneous discussion with you would be a barrel of laughs.

Containment failed miserably in NK while Clinton was in office. And now, we are faced with a much bigger problem as a result.

I can see that it is working extremely well with Bush there instead...LOL
