Al, think about it. If Desert Storm was all about oil, we would have deposed Saddam Insane and replaced him with a puppet of the United States. That would have been simple, and world objection be damned. Then we'd have access to more oil than we could ever get from Kuwait. The conspiracy theory wasn't valid then, and it isn't valid now. Oil is relevant, but only because it gives Iraq the economic power to pursue weapons of mass murder. The whole idea that Bush Jr. lusts after oil is preposterous, a convenient fallback argument for liberals who have nothing better to say. <you ought to make up your mind as to what the real cause and purpose is...weapons, humanitarian, remake the middle east, other...you have used them all in your arguments.> My mind is already made up.
