This is a post referring to post 7048 on SI ENER that I posted. First URL What I was trying to show was that Mr. Lai from INTEL said. under Mnemonic Devices. (credit Red Herring June 17,2002) (1)The power the chip requires now is three to four times the acceptable level. (2)The technology is at least three years away. The second URL in which it states somewhere its a initial one year study. includes this point. (credit to EE Times UK) Eric Hannah, physics sector director for Intel Research, said: “Intel conducts a variety of research related to memory technology. We are specifically interested in investigating new materials that could support faster access times, denser storage, reduced costs and lower power consumption for memory applications. “This investigation with Plasmon is intended to improve our understandings into the materials that may address these issues.” Bill,you made me realize I didn't make my self clear in what I was trying to say.
