The battle for political radio has begun in earnest. The Democrats should never have allowed it to get this far. Even in liberal markets all you can find on the air is Rush and Sean. Maybe they get better ratings, but Democrats need to do something about that. And not just for their party, for independents, moderate and progressive issues of all kinds and the future of this country. The vocal minority of right-wingers is dominating the air-waves. The liberal bias in the media is not only over it's flip-flopped. Now time to equalize it again. Especially with Bush using his bully pulpit to get constant air-play. I suppose it was complacency during the 8-year Clinton term. But now everything has changed. Maybe the 2004 elections will help shed light but the Dems still need popular vocal hosts who aren't afraid of the name-calling on the right. Fair and balanced on Fox isn't.
