Yes, but those comments are speculative. WE have been told that production will be down in 2003, but we're also seeing gold at a new level now, so some decisions may be reversed.
Where I think Barrick has been slipping is in announcing good news ahead of bad - analysts don't like this - or at least so it's said. How many stock analysts have any credibility at all or are prepared to really get to the bottom of things - understand Barrick's hedge book for example? They like to be spoon fed.
