Just saw a replay of an interview with Tom Hayden where he suggested an independent commission should be formed to verify whether or not John McCain was actually tortured as a POW.

If one considers the cult of "blaming America first" an institution - could Hayden's attitude be described as monolithic?

Of course Hayden is a founding member.
