Bush's father taught him a lesson, never to admit blame. This came out in an article done by a top Texas journalist in 2000, that knowing GW would be questioned about cocaine, alcohol, going AWOL and Harken, they decided he would just stonewall the questioners instead of trying some lame excuse like "but I didn't inhale". By the way it's possible Clinton really didn't inhale but boy did the opposition use that against him. GW would never make the same mistake. Denial, silence, diversion or even lying are preferred to answering the questions.
