Louis,

Does this sound like it was written by a psyops officer at the CIA? It sure does to me.

Why in the world would the leadership of the al Qaeda indicate to the world that they are about to perpetrate massive crimes against humanity? It makes no sense for them to do so.

However, it does make perfect sense for a sinister government agency, intent on terrorizing its own population for the power and control that is to be gained to create just such a fiction.

It's been done before. Remember the terrifying things the Nazis had to say about the Satanic Poles in the late 1930's. They were monsters. Just like al Qaeda's so-called "first echelon" are self-described in this fantasy piece as monsters within our own borders.

As a piece of fiction, were I to be rating this for a creative writing course, I'd rate it a C-. It lacks credibility, is a merely generalized ghost story and will be swallowed by only the most naive of readers.

Cheerio! Ray
