BTW, I just finished reading the biography of Jean Moulin which gave me a lot of insight into the French. Not even under Nazi occupation could they succeed in working together. An interesting book I just finished on the subject is France: the Dark Years by Julian Jackson. Very realistic investigation into the French "national myth" of the character of the Resistance, and Vichy France. Derek
