Hi len,

I agree with you 100%. Israel has no claims to legitimacy today. It lost that once it embarked on its evil schemes to displace the Palestinians from their lands in a most genocidal fashion.

I used to be a big fan and supporter of Israel, when I was much more naive and only had the corporate media to tell me what the facts on the ground were. Once I began to study the situation in some detail, I began to realize how much the Israel policies toward the Palestinians amount to nothing more than immoral and unethical theft and murder.

Those on this thread who claim that Israel is a "democracy" should read the news. Israel is currently eliminating all Arab legislators from the Knesset, by fiat, and totally undemocratically. Israel wants to disenfranchise Arabs who have lived in Israel for generations. And the Israelis are giving preference to impoverished Indians from Peru who accept the orthodox faith and are willing to be cannon fodder in the West Bank settlements while ostracizing the native populations. This is truly nuts. And truly evil. How any sane person can condone the evil that Israel has become is beyond my comprehension.
