Well, there is the issue of the green light we gave Saddam before he invaded Kuwait. [...]and encouraged him to commit other aggressions[...] What other "aggression[s]" did the United States "encourage" him to undertake? Any evidence to support that? ...meaning we should have been subject to punishment, not meting punishment out. Under what treaty or agreement should the United States have been "subject to punishment" for providing arms to another nation, surrepetitiously or above board? LPS5
