I may be wrong but I do beleive the US market is much larger than all of RGFX's foreign markets combined - I believe I saw some numbers by IT Strategies. They did mention something in the conference call about addressing this problem so I believe this to be true.

Also, the rows of people lined up to see RGFX's products at trade shows are probably mostly from the foreign markets. Its not uncommon to see this. Another thing is the whole "buy whatever the next guy has" american way of thinking. Its not uncommon for one business to buy whatever the other local businesses have. If your about to go out and spend a load of cash, are you going to get some references or not? RGFX is not an established name here but once the product gets out there, it'll spread like wildfire.

Another interesting factor is the whole consumable approach. They are right on target here! As the installed base of printers grows, the percentage of revenue derived from consumables climbs. For the quarter, RGFX had 26% in consumable sales. Assuming printer sales growth remains steady, the corresponding quarter next year should have more like 35-40% in consumable sales. IT Strategies estimates the LFDP market to be $4 billion in the year 2000 and they say that nearly $3 billion will be consumables (75% of the 4 billion). I am amazed at RGFX's game plan here.

Every free penny I own is invested in this company (and then some, thanks to margin) and I have no doubts about when we will see some action in stock price. I just hope we don't get a bid from another printer manufacterer - or better yet, I hope we get a bid and turn it down. Maybe that'll spark interest.

I'm going to do some more research this weekend and maybe give Jan Mahoney (IR at RGFX) a call on Monday and keep you guys posted.
