All concerns about him as a smaller-college player were answered at the Senior Bowl and at least four teams were thinking about him in the first round. When you study next year's draft, it doesn't appear at this time to be a good draft for QBs. This makes this selection even more important. He gets an opportunity with the Jets not to play right away. He'll sit behind Vinny and will learn. He enters a very tough market. In a year or two from now, they'll demand he plays and then he'll have to perform well to stay. I'm sure the Jets were very happy to find him available at 18. >> sportsillustrated.cnn.com
