It's typical of right-wing dishonesty these days. From Lee Atwater borrowing from Howard Stern to Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter and Sean Hannity. Vicious attacks, rude personal slurs, lies and innuendos, exaggerations, sexism and homphobia, racism and nationalism, talking over people, twisting the truth and accusing people McCarthy style of being un-American. Unfortunately, sometimes it works. But it's so wrong and so degrading to our democracy. A democracy which after Florida in 2000 seems possibly at risk if the few get too much power. So beware, people. As Eisenhower warned us "Beware the military-industrial complex". They care nothing for you and me. Only for their own secret agenda. Just think if Powell weren't in there. We could already be invading Iraq for its oil.
