From an article in my newspaper about the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile: "It is", conceded Bruce Friedrich, a spokesman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. "It is very, very fun. That's why it's so invidious. It's selling the idea that eating hot doges is fun, when in fact it is a violent, bloody business, and it has got to stop". Indeed, meat-eating is a Bad Thing: "A man who struck a boy on the head with a 10-pound frozen chicken during a fight with the boy's mother has been sentenced in San Diego to eight months in prison". A TEN POUND chicken???
