Hey Freeflight, they actually did put a dividend to shareholder vote and it was voted down, rightly so. The reason is that dividends are an inefficient way to return money to shareholders, because of the unfair tax structure. I bet if Bush's tax plan gets passed, we'll see Cisco and other companies start to issue more dividends, but for now, forget it.
