Sure the system can be reformed, but the main problem seem to be cumbersome legal proceedings in which lawyers must show up in court for five minutes to simply enter a non-guilty plea. I suspect you are right, and I am not clear what kind of tort reform Washington is considering. One reform I am interested in is caps on jury awards. Spiralling out of control jury awards results in a hidden tax on all of us that only benefits a few. Best, Huey
