The Recommendation is removed <g> I Doubt it could have helped anyway. -- Well here is a page from some history that never got printed, my deal was over 40 yrs ago, I turned it down because they would not let me pick my own crew. I was working in Key West as a shrimp boat Captain. It was before Castro came to power, and the deal was to run him some guns. Ya the CIA helped arm Castro , I know that as a fact and first hand. I don't know if they actually paid for the guns or if they were just taking a position in the middle. -- Looking back it seems they were just trying to butter both sides of the bread to cover any eventuality. It was a lot like most of our corporations send money to both political candidates. -- At first they were not dead set against Castro as Batista was getting harder and harder to deal with. Batista was like having a John Gotti as president. -- For all I know AT&T may have paid for the guns, but at any rate it was up to the CIA to make the delivery. My job would not have brought me inside the loop , I was just to be the mule, if I could have picked at least one man ( to cover my back ) I would have likely taken it. -- Looking it over good, it's likely for the best I didn't as my values were jumbo mumbo in my youth, and had I done a good job and eventually worked my way inside the loop, the power would have gone to my head, in other words I can now see were success in a few endeavors like that back then would have screwed me up beyond hope of having any redeeming qualities. -- It's built into the nature of the beast, if you make enough deals with the devil the next thing you know you'll wake up finding out you just raped a Mother Teresa.
