If so many Chinese can and will buy cars when their roads are built....................where will all the gasoline come from? It seems that the Chinese will be a competitor for gasoline. As China's standard of living increases their needs for oil will multiply .

This scenario sounds like it's on a collision course with the US economic needs !! We are currently existing in a sort of equalibrium as far are cheap labor needs and the existence of a rich market ( the US population ).

China may become our biggest competitor for the world's oil reserves.
